Chimes of the Irish featuers eight, hollow silver alloy chimes threaded on cream coloured knitted nylon line. The circular wooden top, striker and wind catcher are all of ash with a matt blonde finish. The wind catcher bears the Woodstock logo and the name of the chime on one side.
Woodstock say the tuning is based on the opening bars of the famous Irish melody "Danny Boy" - we have not been able to identify this melody; nonetheless the sounds generated by the eight tubes are very pleasing.
Packaged in an attractive presentation box, this chime carries the usual Woodstock one year guarantee against defective workmanship.
